8th grade Amplify program next week

Dear Parents of Eighth Grade Students: As a part of our overall health and prevention program, Lakeview Jr. High School will sponsor the Amplify Youth Development Program for our eighth grade students during the 2011-2012 school year. The Amplify Program is designed to provide junior high school students with information and resources to properly deal with relationship issues before dating begins. It is our sincere belief that properly educated adolescents are much more likely to make good decisions, develop healthy relationships and postpone involvement in sexual activity. The Amplify Program will be presented to students at Lakeview during health education classes. Though not every student is enrolled in health class, all eighth graders will participate in the one week program at some point in the school year. In preparation for the Amplify Program, a special parent information night was held in the fall.
